Brett established Winch Hire Australia in 1996 to provide specialist winch, chain hoist and cable handling solutions across Queensland and beyond. Over the last 25 years, he has led a team of professionals who work with our clients across a wide range of industries.
His active management input has helped the business to become a trusted partner to our many clients.
Brett has always believed in supporting his team and this includes a strong focus on safety, quality and a good work life balance for all of our team.
Brett enjoys getting out on the weekends on his Ducati and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Megan is our administration manager, who coordinates administration systems and general workflows. She can be relied upon to ensure compliances are met, and developing and improving procedures, to ensure the workplace is efficient, and team morale and confidence are high.
Over the years, Megan has fulfilled many and varied roles, from accounts payable and receivable, payroll, workshop coordination, marketing, which provides her with the experience and insight into all aspects of the business. In recent years Megan’s role has incorporated project management, and she has accomplished change management of business processes and software.
Megan is an passionate foodie, who enjoys cooking delicious wholefood recipes for her family and friends, often with home grown produce. Megan’s greatest joy is her family, including her partner, two adult daughters, and teenage son.
Matt commenced work in The hire industry in 1994 as a service technician and quickly rose to become a hire controller in 1995. Since 1996, Matt has undertaken extensive study focusing on management of people and operational training.
He has managed hundreds of people throughout his journey over nearly 3 decades and is now our National Operations Manager.
Troy was appointed National Sales Manager for Winch Hire Australia in September 2019. During his tenure he has worked closely with many major clients, assisting them with medium to large scale projects underground and above ground, nationwide.
Troy has worked in the Hire and Rental Industry for more than 20 years, gaining valuable knowledge along the way. He has spearheaded our expansion of Winch Hire Australia, recently establishing a new branch in Guildford. He has completed several Diplomas in Business and WHSE and in 2016 completed an MBA at Griffith University.
On the weekend you’ll find Troy on the soccer field coaching the younger kids. Troy and his family are also passionate water-skiers.
Travis joined Winch Hire Australia as a store man in 2015 and quickly rose to become our hire controller. His understanding of our extensive fleet and management skills have been a huge asset to our operation.
Trent started his career as an Internal Sales consultant with Force Access back in 2010, progressing through to Area Manager then Major Accounts Executive during this time in other rental businesses. Trent’s can do attitude and attention to his clients made him one of the most sort after Sales Managers in the access hire space over the last 12 years.
Trent’s experience within the Access Hire industry has given him the foundations to help build our branch in NSW. Trent has built solid relationships through all sectors of the building industry over the last 10 years which will be of great value to all our NSW clients.
On the weekend Trent loves spending time with his family, supporting his 4 children with all their sporting activities including Soccer, Rugby League and Netball. Trent also is a passionate golfer and sports lover.
Brad started his career back in 1999 as a small engine mechanic. After a few years working out the back of the business Brad decided it was time to try his hand at sales and work at the front end of the shop. Brad was dedicated and was shortly promoted to Sales Manager.
Brad has gained several years of experience within the crane industry. As the Operations Manager he oversaw several large-scale projects within the Sydney CBD.
On the weekend you will find Brad spending time with his wife and kids, and if he’s not doing that, then he’s out playing with his toys. As you would expect they all have big engines and go very fast.
