Innovation & Safety at Winch Hire Australia
At Winch Hire Australia, we prioritise reaching higher safety standards required by our customers and Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
Last year, a valued customer hiring a range of our 6.0T and 6.5T cable trailers for their LNG project at Chinchilla suggested improved guarding on the drum drives to maximise their operators’ safety. We agreed and designed and fabricated appropriate drum drive guards. To date, the entire 5.0T to 6.5T cable trailer range has been installed with the improved drum drive guards and the remaining cable trailers and drum drives will be completed this year.
We take the safety of our customers seriously. We train our staff to listen to and act on our customers’ requests. We also provide certification with the products we hire and adhere to current safety standards and legislation.
When it comes to product innovation, our team is always working together to engineer solutions to project requirements to make sure our customers receive the right machinery for the job – the Chinchilla project is an example of this. We regularly test what we hire, and we regularly purchase new, state-of-the-art equipment.
The Winch Hire way: What is the hire process like?
- Discounted rates for long term hire are available upon request, subject to authorisation.
- Free site inspections and advice within 200 km radius from our Sumner Park premises.
- Rental equipment is off hired during transit to the customers’ site. If the customer requires the equipment on site ready to start the job first thing in the morning, delivery is arranged for the day before and the equipment is off hired until hire starts the next day.
- Once the project is completed, equipment is on hire until returned to our premises to ensure plant is returned in a timely manner.
As a company that prioritises innovation, safety, reliability and efficiency, Winch Hire Australia is perfect for businesses looking for real industrial muscle. View our product range.
